Joshua Tree, a triple Gr.1 winner!
The son of Montjeu is the only horse who won 3 times the Group 1 Pattison Canadian International, the biggest race on grass in Canada (2400 m).
Joshua Tree has done an amazing career at the age of 2 years and up to 6 years. Very precocious, he has distinguished himself in two years when he broke his maiden in Ireland from his first start, later he won the 1600 meters Group 2 Royal Lodge Stakes at Ascot.
At 3-year-old he won, for the first time, the Group 1 Pattison Canadian International for the training of Aidan O'Brien.
At 4-year-old, he won the 2400m Qatar Invitation Cup with a record time of 2.24 and came second in the Group 1 Pattison Canadian Internation.
At 5-year-old, he won the 3000m Prix Kergorlay (Gr.2) at Deauville in France, before getting a second success in the Group 1 Pattison Canadian International! The same year, he came second in the Group 3 Dubai Gold Cup (3200m), and second in the Group 2 Princess of Wales Gold Smiths Stakes at Newmarket (2400m).
At 6year-old, in 2013, he made history by winning for the 3rd time the Group 1 Pattison Canadian International! The same year he came second in the Group 2 Prix Kergolay (3000m) at Deauville in France.
