Dual Group 1PA winner at 3 thanks to his successes in the Al Rayyan Cup-Prix Kesberoy and the Qatar Arabian Trophy des Poulains, and best three-year-old colt in 2018, runner-up and placed third at the hight level in France and Qatar at 4 and 5, Marid will join the Haras du Grand Courgeon Stallion roster in 2022. He will be available in natural cover and frozen semen will be available at stud.
Marid is the inheritor of an exceptional genetics :
- His sire, TM Fred Texas by Burning Sand out of Queen Kong (Kong) totalizes 10 victories in the USA and won the Group 1PA Dubai Kahayla Classic at Meydan.
- His dam is the incredible Al Dahma by Amer out of Al Hanoof (Manganate), winner of 25 races including 14 Group 1PA races from 4 to 8-y-o.
