Apart from its own horses, the Haras du Grand Courgeon is also home to visiting mares who come to give birth to their foals and stay until those are weaned. Foals enjoy all the necessary attention and education that will allow them to flourish on the racecourse and stay at the stud until they are ready to start their pre-training.
Every year, the results of horses born and bred by the Haras du Grand Courgeon are a testament to the team’s effort and each victory of a product bred by the stud is celebrated by the men and women who work there as if it was one of their own.
