On 4 December at the Abu Dhabi racecourse, Abbes by TM Fred Texas out of Raqiyah (Amer) got his sixth Group 1PA success when his lifted the 2200m Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Jewel Crown, beating a high level field, including the best specimens of the Purebred Arabian breeding from 3 continents.
Born and bred at the Grand Courgeon Stud for the SCEA of the Haras de Victot, the six-year-old is owned by Wathnan Racing and trained by Alban de Mieulle and he was riden by Mickael Barzalona.
