ABBES MADE A SUCCESSFUL COME BACK AT DOHA

After his victory in April in the Group 1PA Qatar Gold Sword and two races in France, Abbes by TM Fred Texas out of Raqiyah (Amer) made a successful return at Doha when he lifted the Lekhraib Cup run over 2200m on 24 November. Born and bred at the Grand Courgeon Stud for the SCEA of the Haras de Victot, the five-year-old runs on the colours of Wathnan Racing and he is trained by Alban de Mieulle. He was partnered with jockey Ronan Thomas.
