ABBES MAKES A SUCCESSFUL SEASONAL REAPPEARANCE AT DOHA

On 20 January à Doha, for his first start of the racing season at Doha, Abbes by TM Fred Texas out of Raqiyah (Amer) lifted the 2200m Group 3PA Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Trophy. Born and bred at the Grand Courgeon Stud for the SCEA of the Haras de Victot, the numerous Group 1PA winner runs in the colours of Wathnan Racing and he is trained by Alban de Mieulle. He was ridden by Mickael Barzalona.
