After his victory in HH The Amir's Sword, Abbes lifted the last Group 1PA of the Qatari season: the Qatar Gold Sword run over 2000m on 6 April at Doha. Bred at the Grand Courgeon Stud for the SCEA of the Haras de Victot, the son of TM Fred Texas and Raqiyah (Amer) carries the silks of Wathnan Racing and is trained by Alban de Mieulle. Jockey Ronan Thomas guided him to this tremendous success.
