The eight-year-old gelding got his first success of the season on 18 November at Al Uqda racecourse where he lifted a 2100 m handicap race. Born and bred at the Grand Courgeon Stud for H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, Akmar by No Risk Al Maury out of Safa (Majd Al Arab) is owned by Mohammed Nasser R.A. Al-Naimi and is trained by Hadi Al Ramzani. Jockey Ebrahim Nader was in the saddle.
