On 21 February, the nine-year-old Akmar by No Risk Al Maury out of Safa (Majd Al Arab) got once again on the podium at Doha racecourse, where he lifted a 1900m handicap race. Born and bred at the Grand Courgeon Stud for H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Hadi Al Ramzani trained is owned by Mohammed Nasser R.A. Al-Naimi. Jockey Soufiane Saadi was in the saddle.
