On 28 December, at Al Uqda racecourse, the unraced Azraq by Al Tair out of Zilal (Mahabb) lifted a 2000m Purebred Arabian Maiden plate. Born and bred at the Grand Courgeon Stud for the SCEA of the Haras de Victot, the three-year-old colt is owned by Wathnan Racing and he is trained by Alban de Mieulle. Jockey Youssef Lachhab was in the saddle for this first start.
