DOUBLE AT DOHA FOR THE GRAND COURGEON COLTS

On 9 Marh at Doha racecourse, Muntazah by Al Mamun Monlau out of Nashmiya II (Majd Al Arab) won a 1900m Purebred Arabian Novice Plate in front of Abu Thaylah by General out of Al Basheq (Dormane). Both were born and bred at the Grand Courgeon Stud for the SCEA of Haras de Victot and are owned by H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani. The four-year-old colts offered a one-two to trainer Alban de Mieulle. The winner was ridden by Ronan Thomas while Soufiane Saadi rode the runner-up.
