On 28 November at Al Uqda racecourse, the four-year-old Farida lifted a 2100m Purebred Arabian handicap race. Born and bred at the Grand Courgeon Stud for the SCEA of the Haras de Victot, the daughter of TM Fred Texas and Suwaida (Nizam) is owned by Wathnan Racing and she is trained by Alban de Mieulle. For her first start of the racing season she was partnered by jockey Youssef Lachhab.
