FIRST START AND FIRST VICTORY FOR AKMAR

For his first start, the three-year-old colt Akmar by No Risk Al Maury out of Safa got his first win on 7 November at Doha racecourse. He won a 1200 metre Purebred Arabian Maiden Plate for 3-y-o colts. Born and bred at the Haras du Grand Courgeon, the Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani owned colt is trained by Alban de Mieulle. Jockey Ronan Thomas guided him to this first success.
