FIRST SUCCESS AT DOHA FOR MARID

For his first start at Doha, on 28 November 2019, Marid by TM Fred Texas out of Al Dahma (Amer) won the Purebred Arabian Guineas, a one mile event for four-year-old horses.
Born and bred at the Grand Courgeon Stud for H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, Marid carries the silks of Umm Qarn and he is trained by Alban de Mieulle. Jockey Ronan Thomas led him to his fist success in Qatar.
The four-year-old is already winner of 2 Group 1PA races à three years old and was the runner-up of the Group 1PA Doha Cup-Prix Manganate at Deauville last August.
