On 19 February, at Doha racecourse, the four-year-old colt got his first success when he lifted a 1700m Purebred Arabian maiden plate. Bred by the Grand Courgeon Stud, Duke of Monlau by Al Mamun Monlau out of Humam (General) is owned by Al Rufaa Racing and he is trained by Mohammed Ghazali. Jockey Alberto Sanna guided him to his first victory.
