Husam by Burning Sand out of Al Anood (Amer), born and bred at the Haras du Grand Courgeon for Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani who also owns him, finishes his first season in Qatar with a success. On 17 April, the four-year-old colt, trained by Alban de Mieulle, won a 1700 meters Purebred Arabian Graduation Plate. Jockey Ronan Thomas guided him to this first victory at Doha.
