On 4 April 2019, during the Qatar Gold Sword meeting, the full brother of General and Al Dahma: Gold Amer by Amer out of Al Hanoof got his first victory. Born and bred at the Haras du Grand Courgeon for Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani who also owns him, the four-year-old colt won a 1400 meters Purebred Arabian Maiden Plate.
Gold Amer is trained by Alban de Mieulle and jockey Ronan Thomas guided him to his first success.
