On the 12th January, at Doha racecourse, the first Al Dahma offspring, got the victory in a
2200 m event for 4-years-old colts and geldings.
Yazeed is born at Haras du Grand Courgeon, where his dam is brood mare. Al Dahma was an exceptional filly who totalized 25 victories, including 15 Group 1PA races, for 35 starts.
Yazeed is owned by Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani and is trained by Alban de Mieulle. Jockey Olivier Peslier, who won the Group 1PA race HH The Emir’s Sword in 2010 with Al Dahma, lifted Yazeed to his first win.
