On 15 February 2018, at Doha racecourse, the mare Bint Amir by Amer out of Al Hanoof (Manganate) won her first race, a 1200 meters Purebred Arabian Handicap. The five-year-old mare is the full sister of the champions General and Al Dahma respectively stallion and broodmare at the Haras du Grand Courgeon.
Born and bred at the Haras du Grand Courgeon and owned by Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, Bint Amir is trained by Alban de Mieulle and jockey Rashid Ali Al-Marri led her to her first win.
