Friday 1st November 2018 two colts born and bred at the Haras du Grand Courgeon were in the limelight at Doha racecourse. The first was Prince Amer by Amer out of Amindala Princess (Akbar) who won a 1600 metre Purebred Arabian Maiden Plate. Born and raised by the Haras du Grand Courgeon, the four-year-old colt trained by Alban de Mieulle is owned by Mr Patrice Nicolet. Jockey Ronan Thomas guided him to his first victory.
One hour later, Sehab by Nizam out of Kachia (Djelfor) won a 1600 metre Purebred Arabian Graduation Plate. Born and raised at the Haras du Grand Courgeon for Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani who owns him, the five-year-old colt is also trained by Alban de Mieulle. Jockey Ronan Thomas was in the saddle.
