On 3 July, at La Teste-de-Buch racecourse, Hatim by TM Fred Texas out of Haifaa (Amer) got his first success when he lifted the 2000m Prix Benji, for 4yo only. Born and bred at the Grand Courgeon Stud for the SCEA of the Haras de Victot, the colt carries the silks of H.H. Cheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani. Trained by Alban de Mielle, Hatim was ridden by Mickael Barzalona.
