Two Purebred Arabian horses, born and bred at the Haras du Grand Gourgeon, are on the top of the 2018 International Classification for three-year-old published by the IFAHR. Al Haffanah by Amer out of Al Nachmiya (Azadi) is on the first position, with a rating of 113. Unbeaten, she notabily won the Group 1PA Qatar Arabian Trophy des Pouliches. She is owned by Al Shaqab Racing and trained by Thomas Fourcy.
The runner-up of this classification is Marid by TM Fred Texas out of Al Dahma (Amer) owned by Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani and trained by Antoine de Watrigant. With 4 starts at three-year-old, Marid totalizes 3 wins including Group 1PA races Al Rayyan Cup-Prix Kesberoy and Qatar Arabian Trophy des Poulains. His official rating is 112.

The top place of the four-year-old category, with a rating of 128, has been attributed to a grandson and to a son of Amer. These two champions respectively won the Qatar Arabian Word Cup and HH The Emir's Sword. The Al Dahma's son, Yazeed by Munjiz, born and bred at the Haras du Grand Courgeon for Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, received the second hight rating: 127.
Khataab by Amer out of Djelana (Al Sakbe), born and bred by Alban de Mieulle at the Haras du Grand Courgeon, is at the fifth place of the classification. His is owned by Al Shaqab Racing and trained by Thomas Fourcy.
