The first French Group PA races were run on 15 April on Toulouse racecourse. Khataab by Amer out of Djelana (Al Sakbe), born and bred by Alban de Mieulle at the Grand Courgeon stud, won the Group 2PA Prix de Carthage-Hannibal run over 2000m. The seven-year-old horse is owned by Al Shaqab Racing and trained by Thomas Fourcy. Jockey Jérôme Cabre was in the saddle.
