On 23 of February, the first day of the HH The Emir’s Sword Festival, Majeed QA won the last race of the meeting, the Qatar Purebred Arabian Trophy, a 2000m event for purebred Arabian horses born and bred in Qatar.
Born and bred by Umm Qarn, the 7-years-old horse, totalizes 8 wins at Doha including the 2016 Qatar Purebred Arabian Trophy. He has also won a Group 3PA race in Holland and was second of two Group 1PA races in France in 2016: Doha Cup Prix Manganate at Deauville and Qatar Cup Prix Dragon at Chantilly.
He is trained by Alban de Mieulle and jockey Olivier Peslier led him to his third win of the 2016/2017 Qatari season.
