On 4 June, Metrag by Amer, out of Massamarie (Tidjani), won the Listed PA Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Cup, run on 2400 m at Roma-Capanelle racecourse. Born in 2012 and bred at Haras du Grand Courgeon, the five-year-old stallion is owned by Al Shaqab Racing and is trained by Thomas Fourcy. Jockey Faleh Bugheinaim led him to the win.
