On 3 March, at the Al Uqda new racecourse in Qatar, Maruf by Tabarak out of Noorah (Djelfor) won a 2000m Purebred Arabian Handicap. Bred at the Grand Courgeon Stud for the SCEA du Haras de Victot, the five-year-old who is trained by Alban de Mieulle, carries the silks of Umm Qarn. Jockey Soufiane Saadin was in the saddle.
