On 20 May 2020, for his second start, the 3-year-old Mountasir by Tabarak out of Basalic d'Elios (Elios de Carrere) won the 1400 meters Prix Djerba Oua. Born and raised at the Grand Courgeon Stud for the SCEA Haras de Victot, Mountasir carries the silks of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani and is trained by Thomas Fourcy. Jockey Olivier Peslier was in the saddle.
