On 19 December at Doha, Muqla by Tabarak out of Sarahmina got her first success when she lifted a Purebred Arabian Plate for 3-y-o fillies only, run over the mile. The runner-up is Yaqhar by Kalino out of Al Dahma. Both were bred at the Grand Courgeon Stud for H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani and carry the silks of Umm Qarn. Both are trained by Alban de Mieulle and Muqla was partenered to Ronan Thomas and Yaqhar was riden by jockey Soufiane Saadi.
