Khataab (Amer ex Djelana by Al Sakbe), winner of HH Sh. Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan – Prix Carthage Hannibal (Gr.2PA)
On 21st April 2017, at Toulouse, Khataab, by Amer out of Djelana (Al Sakbe), won the first group PA race of the 2017 French Season: HH Sh. Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan – Prix Carthage Hannibal, a group 2PA race, run on 2000m.
Two races for 3-year-old Purebred Arabian horses, run on 1400 m, also took place at Toulouse during this meeting.
Al Ghashamiya, by General out of Nefertarie (Mahabb), had been placed runner-up in the Prix Djebella II, the race for fillies and Rijm, by Azadi out of Kerjam (Dormane), got the victory in Prix Denouste, the race for colts. Both were racing for the first time.
All the three horses are owned by Al Shaqab Racing and are trained by Thomas.
