On 8 April at Doha, for the second start of his career, the Marid's son Al Wazeer out of Faiha lifted a 1400m Purebred Arabian Novice plate for 3YO. Bred in Qatar the Al Wathnan Racing owned colt is trained by Alban de Mieulle. Jockey Soufiane Saadi was in the saddle for this second consecutive victory.
The Al Wazeer's sire, Marid, dual Group 1PA winner, is standing at the Grand Courgeon Stud.
