On 11 January 2018, the Majd Al Arab son : TM Thunder Struck out of Bonnett (Burning Sand) and bred by Todd Moak in USA, got his twelfth victory of his career : the HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani Cup, a Group 3PA race run on 1600 meters.
Owned by Umm Qarn, the eight-year-old horse is trained by Alban de Mieulle and jockey Jean-Baptiste Hamel lifted him to his second Group PA win of the new season.
