At 7-years-old, TM THUNDER STRUCK (Majd Al Arab ex Bonnett by Burning Sand) wins the Group 1PA race Qatar International Cup, a one mile race which took place at Doha, on 25 February 2017.
Born and bred at Todd Moak stud farm, in USA, TM Thunder Struck won numerous races, including the Group 3PA HH Sh. Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani Cup, the Group 2PA Qatar Gold Sword, the Group 2PA Qatar National Day Trophy and, in 2016, he was runner-up of the Group 1PA race Dubai Kahayla Classic. But, today, he won his first Group 1PA race.
TM Thunder Struck is owned by Sh. Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani and is trained by Alban de Mieulle. Jockey Olivier Peslier led him to his first Group 1PA victory.
The runner-up of this race is born and bred at Haras du Grand Courgeon : Zikreet (Dahess ex Dormadora by Dormane) is owned by Al Shaqab Racing.
