On 15 October 2020 at Doha, for his first start of the new racing season, Gold Amer by Amer out of Al Hanoof (Manganate) won a one mile Purebred Arabian Handicap. Born and bred at the Grand Courgeon Stud for H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, Gold Amer carries the silks of Umm Qarn and he is trained by Alban de Mieulle. Jockey Ronan Thomas was in the saddle.
