For her first participation at Doha, Al Efreeta got her first success thanks to her victory in a 1600m Purebred Arabian Maiden Plate for 4-y-o only, on 12 December 2020. Born and bred at the Grand Courgeon Stud for Al Shaqab Racing, the daughter of Dahess and Dormadora (Dormane) is trained by Alban de Mieulle and she was partnered with jockey Ronan Thomas.
