The three-year-old Rasheda (Al Mourtajez out of Nefertarie) made successful debuts on 7 December at Al Uqda racecourse where she won a 1400m Purebred Arabian maiden plate. Born and bred at the Grand Courgeon Stud for Al Shaqab Racing who owned her, the filly is trained by Jean de Mieulle. The Qatari jockey Faleh Bughanaim was in the saddle for this first victory.
