FIRST VICTORY FOR NEEF

After a promissing debut at La Teste where he was the runner-up of the Shadwell-Prix Bengali d’Albret at the beginning of July, Neef by General out of Sarahmina won the Prix Akbar on 1^st August. Prix Akbar is a 1900 meter race for three-year-old colts.
The son of General, born and bred at the Haras du Grand Courgeon, is owned by Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani. He is trained by Didier Guillemin and jockey Gabriel Bon was in the saddle.
