The Umm Qarn's colt Antar by Al Mamun Monlau out of Al Dahma (Amer) got his first Group PA success when he lifted the Qatar Derby for 3YOs (Gr.3PA) run over the mile on 20 December at Doha. Bred at the Grand Courgeon Stud for SCEA du Haras de Victot, the colt is trained by Alban de Mieulle and jockey Ronan Thomas guided him to his first success at this level.
