After two victories in flat race and one on hurdle, Joshua Moon by Joshua Tree out of Mosogna Moon (Boreal) got his first success in steeplechase on 4 September at Craon where he lifted the 4100m steeplechase Prix Lesieur (Prix Courant d'Air).
Bred by the Haras du Grand Courgeon, the five-year-old gelding is owned in partnership by Ecurie Equus Racing, Ecurie Delaunay, Groupe KR and André Bocquet. He is trained by Jérôme Delaunay and was partnered by jockey Wilfried Lajon.
His sire, Joshua Tree is standing at the Grand Courgeon Stud.
