After her victory in a 1900m race on 7 December, the daughter of Dahor de Brugere and Al Nashmiya (Azadi) started the new year with another success in the 1700m Umm Al Zubar Cup which was run on 4 January at Doha. Bred at the Grand Courgeon Stud for her owner Al Shaqab Racing, the seven-year-old mare is trained by Eric Lemartinel. For her first victory this calendar year, Meethag was partnered by Alberto Sanna.
