On 1st April at Doha racecourse, the four-year-old filly Al Arabie by Al Mamun Monlau out of Altesse d'Aroco got her first success when she lifted the opening race of the Qatar Gold Sword Meeting: a 1400 metres Purebed Arabian Maiden Plate. Born and bred at the Grand Courgeon Stud for H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani who is also her owner, Al Arabie is trained by Alban de Mieulle and jockey Ronan Thomas guided her to her first victory.
Her sire, Al Mamun Monlau by Munjiz out of Salalah de Monlau is standing at the Grand Courgeon Stud.
