For his first start of the new season, Jabalah by Al Mamun Monlau out of Kouthar (Nizam) lifted the Umm Bab Cup run over the mile at Doha racecourse on 27 October. Born and bred at the Grand Courgeon Stud for the SCEA of the Haras de Victot, the six-year-old is owned by Wathnan Racing and trained by Alban de Mieulle. Jockey Carlos Henrique guided him to the victory.
