On 27 January at Doha racecourse, Umm Bab by Al Mamun Monlau out of Rahab (Amer) opened his 2021-22 palmares when he lifted a 1600m Purebred Arabian handicap. Born and bred at the Grand Courgeon Stud for the SCEA of Haras de Victot, the six-year-old is trained by Alban de Mieulle and carries the silks of Umm Qarn. Jockey Ronan Thomas was in the saddle.
